Blog 1.

Did you ever have the urge to tell the world what's on your mind? I do often and so here I am doing just that. Well, I say the world, but work my way up would be best, don't you think? Mind you, what a palaver setting this up! I mean, all I wanted to do was chat away to my heart's content, I didn't realise it would be sooo hard. Thankfully I succeeded (on my own, I might add) and we are up and running :o)


So, as is normal, now I've started, my mind has let me down and it has scurried to the back of my head and has curled itself up in a tight ball not wanting to come and play!


I've read a few blogs along the way and generally, it seems that everyone just writes as though they are talking to people they know.....I can cope with that. :o)
Oh, you'll also see that I am very fond of smiley faces :o)


Do you know, I have avoided joining up to twitter cos I looked at it once, and to be honest with you, it frightened the bejeezes out of me....well, the other week I succumbed and tentatively signed up....and do you know what....I'm loving it! Admittedly I didn't have a clue what I was/am doing, but thanks to a patient friend, who I'm always asking: "how do I do this..." "how do I do that..." and "oops did I mean to do that..." I'm slowly getting there :o)


I'm not sure if this blogging thing is going to be successful or if anyone will read it (after the first), but I am going to be regularly writing about whatever comes into my head, whatever I'm happy about, whatever annoys me, anything at all.


Talking of which, I really don't understand how the football mind works. I mean years ago the match was where father's took their sons/daughters on a Saturday afternoon with no fear of violence or offence. Ok, I'm not naive, I know there has always been fiery passion for your team with a few...erm...choice words thrown from one side to another but, honestly, the state of play (pardon the pun) these days is horrendous. Racism, threats, violence pure unadulterated hatred! Nothing to do with the skill of the players and the way the game pans out, and I'm afraid that whilst these so-called fans get away with it, that's exactly what they will do...get away with it!


Phew, bit of a rant eh? :o)


Do you know, I think that I am going to enjoy this blogging malarkey. Hope you'll enjoy one or two of them with me ;o)
